FOJ – Why Focusing on Jesus Changes Everything

FOJ isn’t just a logo. It’s a lifestyle—an everyday reminder to fix our eyes on Jesus in every season.

There’s a moment in Matthew 14 that captures the heart of focus. The disciples are in a boat, the waves are rough, and then—out of the darkness—they see Jesus walking toward them on the water. Peter, in bold faith, calls out, “Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.” Jesus simply says, “Come.”

Peter steps out. For a few beautiful seconds, he does the impossible—he walks on water toward Jesus. But then, Scripture says, “when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink” (Matthew 14:30, NIV). His focus shifted from the Savior to the storm, and that’s when he went under.

The Power of Focus

Hebrews 12:2 reminds us to “fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” The word fix means to fasten, to lock in, to refuse distraction. It’s not a casual glance—it’s a determined gaze.

“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
Hebrews 12:1–2

In a world of constant noise—endless feeds, breaking news, and to-do lists—our spiritual health hinges on where we set our focus.

  • We recall His presence in what doesn’t make sense.
  • We find courage to keep walking when the path feels impossible.
  • We root our identity in grace, not performance.

FOJ – More Than a Brand

FOJ stands for Focusing On Jesus. It’s more than letters on a shirt—it’s a declaration and a daily reminder. Every design is created to spark conversation and to point hearts toward the One who still says, “Come.”

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
Colossians 3:2

Whether you’re facing a storm or walking through a calm season, FOJ apparel keeps the truth close to your heart. When someone sees FOJ across your chest, it’s not just fashion—it’s faith in motion. It’s the boldness to say, “My eyes are on Him, no matter what the wind looks like.”

Your Storm, His Presence

Maybe today you feel a lot like Peter—caught between faith and fear. The waves feel high, and the wind sounds loud. The good news is the same: Jesus still says, “Come.” Focusing on Him doesn’t erase the storm; it empowers you to walk above it. And when your gaze slips, His hand is there to lift you.

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”
Isaiah 26:3
